So, when 'dada' goes to the toy store, we end up coming home with a new toy barbecue grill! Pretty similar result if you send me alone to Home Depot, too.

Abby loves it! Since I'm normally cooking on my grill, Abby loves cooking on her grill too!
Ok, here she's just excited to have
my shoes on!

Now she's cooking, and blowning bubbles!

She loves all of her outside activities!

She especially likes "driving" the Mustang.
A few more years before I really have to be worried, I guess.

She's "chilling" at the zoo!

Showing off her new cooking skills!

Mmmm, hot dog...

Here's a video of Abby "dancing" to her favorite song.
The first part she's clapping, then getting 'tired', then
jumping up! Hope to see y'all soon!

Reid Park Zoo!

During "momma"s Tucson visit this weekend we did lots of fun activities including playing at the house, getting some pool time, and going to the zoo! Abby really enjoyed the zoo and seeing all the "amimals", as she calls them.

Abigail got to feed the Giraffes lettuce and a carrot!

She loved seeing the real life versions
of her beanie-baby giraffe!
She pointed at all of them and said "Baby!"

She waved to the elephants
She also took advantage of getting
taller to look at the elephants by herself.
She's really getting big!

She found a couple of ducks that were on the path

Even when the ducks had enough of her, she decided to follow

She gave a good chase, but they were a little faster!
I hope everybody enjoys the pics, we'll post more soon!

First day at the pool!

That's right folks, it's the second week in April and our pool is already up to swimming temperatures! Abby and her dad decided to try it out today.

Abby in her new swimsuit -
No, she's not fat, it's got inflatable floaties inside!!!

Her profile view in her "sumo-swimsuit"

Checking out the water!

She's getting excited now!

She cruised around in her horsie for a long time!

With another floatie she even ventured into the deep end
(with her 3 different floatation devices, she could almost raise the titanic)

We hope to see everybody soon! You're always welcome to come enjoy some sunshine and swimming pool time with us.

Hoppy Easter!

Mama was able to sneak away from TX for Easter weekend to see Thad and Abby. We smoked a brisket, had a huge outdoor fire, and Abby made out like a bandit with Easter eggs after church. Great weekend. Much too short, but hopefully we'll be together soon. She changed so much in the month I didn't see her. Such a little lady now.

Abby and Hayden after church. Hayden wants to know if Abby wants to join her on the playground. Abby says, "Yes, please."

Going to the park...

Abby and dad made a trip to the park today - here's some pics!

Abby's excited to be on the way!

Elmo backpack - check, ladybug suitcase - check,
St Patrick's day beads - check

Abby set down her "accesories" when she saw the playground,
then it was a full sprint!

Here's some video too! Enjoy, everybody!

Taking TX By Storm!

Just a few more pictures of our antics during our precious time together. I'll be home soon guys. I love you!!

Abby says, "I'd love to go down this slide, but sitting in dada's lap is just too comfy!" By the way, we pick out restaurants based on the kid amenities these days. This is at La Hacienda de Los Barrios and the food was great, too! http://www.lhdlb.com/ Check out the entire jungle gym!

More of our crazy girl during our visit to the Alamo. She does this crazy dance now when she gets random spurts of energy. It involves running in circles, going up on her tippy toes, and waving her arms in the air complete with a few squeals of approval.
Satisfied with her Alamo victory dance!

Abby says, "Take that Mexico. We won."

Our sweet girl's sweet smile.

Enjoying a New Orleans style gospel brunch in downtown SA.

Fun band, good food, yummy mimosas! Abby unleashed her best moves on the dance floor.

We were able to go to Uvalde to visit with Uncle Bob, Aunt Sharon, cousins Wes, Christy, Jen, Jeff, Aaron, Olivia, Zoe, Lilly, and Cami. Abby enjoyed seeing/meeting her family...especially the bouncy part.

"Um, mom, why don't we have one of these?"

"I can hang with the big kids, I can."

Thanks for enduring all those girls, baby. You're the best!

Abby, Zoe, Olivia, and Lilly getting settled to watch a movie so the grown-ups could go dancing to Asleep At The Wheel!!!
